Key Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14 – “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal.”
You cannot drive forward while looking in the rearview mirror. Many of God’s people are stuck because they are still holding onto what God has already told them to release. Bitterness from a past relationship. Guilt from a past failure. Fear from a past trauma. Even nostalgia for past seasons that have ended. God is saying today: “Let it go.” The same hand that cannot receive a new blessing is the same hand that is clinging to an old wound. Forgive not because they deserve it, but because you deserve freedom. Release the past not because it didn’t hurt, but because your future is too bright to be darkened by yesterday’s shadows. Start a new way of living by opening your hands—and your heart—to what God wants to do now.
